DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

B.TECH

The B.Tech. course is duly approved by the All India Council for TechnicalEducation (AICTE), Government of India and the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal. The duration of study of this course is 4 years (8 semesters) and total intake in each discipline is 40+8 (lateral entry) students.The strength of the department has been in its diverse areas of research wherein the remarkable contribution by its faculty members is worth a mention. It was accredited by NBA.

M.TECH

The Institute has been offering a full time postgraduate course leading to M. Tech in Information Technology since 2012. The sanctioned intake of students for the M.Tech course is 18.

PHD

This academic department offers guidance and facilities for Ph.D. programme. The Institute has collaborated with reputed institutions at national and international level for postgraduate, project and Ph.D programmes. From the year 2023, In house Ph.D program has been offered and 8 students are enrolled in the programme.
