Wipro took the initiative of training both the faculties and students of this institute for familiarizing themselves with the latest technologies that are currently in demand for the most IT companies. In this context, they first started the scheme “WIPRO CERTIFIED FACULTY” (WCF) where faculties of this institute were trained and certified in java, J2EE domain such that they became eligible to train the students and other faculties. After that, Wipro subsequently introduced the “Talent Next” Prog. from 2018 onwards where final year students of respective batch rigorously trained in java, J2EE domain under the mentorship of concern WCF (Wipro Certified Faculty) for acquiring industry readiness skills. Further, with the advancement as well diversity of technologies in the current IT industry, Wipro has also started some specialized trainings for the faculties of this institute from 2020 onwards such as AI & ML, Big Data, Java Full Stack etc. Simultaneously, Wipro has also provided similar opportunities to the students to learn some of these topics and get certified by NASSCOM through the Future Skills training Prog. which started last year (2022) under the mentorship of WCF. The objective of this prog. is to make the students aware about the latest advanced technologies and improve their employability scenarios in the global market. Additionally, Wipro has also started separate certificate course on “java full stack” for the students who successfully clears all the three milestone tests of basic “Talent Next” Prog which is mainly focused on java, J2EE domain. Hence with such dual certification of both “Talent Next” prog. and “java full stack”, the final year students will be very much industry ready according to the latest requirement of current IT industry.
