Ms. Ruma Mallik, National Scholar, M.Tech. (IIT), obtained her Bachelor degree in ‘Ceramic Technology’ from College of Ceramic Technology (earlier GCECT), Calcutta University (through JEE), and her Master degree in ‘Materials & Metallurgical Engineering’ from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur (through GATE). Thereafter she gained appreciable working experiences in field of Ceramic Research, Industries and also in Consulting Engineering services for various National & International Integrated Steel Plant Projects, during her long service period at globally reputed organizations like M N Dastur & Co., Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute (CGCRI) etc. Presently, since August 2018, she is teaching B.Tech. & M.Tech. students at the Ceramic Technology Department of GCECT, teaching important Theoretical & Practical subjects. She is also involved in Engineering Project works at GCECT and pursuing her Ph.D degree as well. She also takes part in different Cultural Activities of the Institute.
