Dr. N. Mazumder, was born in 1986. He completed his earlier schooling from Basirhat High School, Basirhat. He completed B.Sc. in Physics from Narendrapur RKM Residential College, Kolkata during 2004 to 2007. After completing M.Sc. in Physics (2007 – 2009) from Narendrapur RKM Residential College, he completed his M.Tech. (in 2011) with Materials Science and Nanotechnology and Ph.D. (in 2018) both from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. At present he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, Govt. College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology, Kolkata.

  • Received the Gold Medal in Physics for being one of the national top 5 candidates in the National Graduate Physics Examination – 2007 organized by Indian Association of Physics Teachers.
  • Received the “Best Poster Award” in the Department of Atomic Energy Solid State Physics Symposium 2013 organized by Bhabha Atomic Research Centre.
  • Received the “Young Scientist Award” in 2013 by the Materials Research Society of India Kolkata Chapter.
